RCOM upgrades it website for easy 4G migration

As RCOM is going to shut down its CDMA operations in the country, RCOm has upgraded its website and started online migration facility for CDMA subscribers. RCOM had officially announced that May 31st as the last day of CDMA services in phase I circles as part of its planned 4G upgrade. Phase I circles include Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, UP East, UP West and Madhya Pradesh.

 

CDMA subscribers can visit RCOM website to do an online migration to 4G.(LINK) This would enable subscribers to migrate to 4G even after CDMA network shutdown. The old subscribers have to get a 4G SIM from the store and send SMS for migration.

Now this can be done online by entering your CDMA number, new SIM No, RSN No and alternate number. However, 4G sims have to be bought from RCOM store in order to register for the migration process.

RCOM has already activated many 4G connections and started delivery 4G WiFi pods for data card subscribers who migrated from CDMA. However, they currently getting connected only to 2G GSM and 3G networks as 4G network is not live yet. RCOM 4G network is expected to go live soon after the shutdown of its CDMA network.

  1. Every network is not clear about their tariff and they fix a slap which will not be useful to the customers . The TRAI ‘s rights , duties and liabilities are not clearly mentioned to know eeasily by the public , no one knows the strategy of any network .
