Gionee Marathon M5 with 6020mAh battery will be launched in India on November 24

Gionee is going to launch its marathon series phone The Gionee Marathon M5  in India on November 24 at an event to be held in Bangalore.In China it  has been launched few months back for roughly Rs.24000.

The highlighted specs of the Gionee Marathon M5 is its 6020mAh battery combo, comprised of two 3010mAh batteries. Gionee promises the phone will last for 4 days on a single charge. It’s additionally equipped the handset with an extreme mode which can guarantee a standby time of 62 hours out of just 5% of power.


The Gionee Marathon M5 also supports fast and reversible charging. While the former delivers 2.5 hours of talk time out of 5 minutes of charging, the latter allows users to utilize it as a powerbank for up to 2 other devices at the same time. Moving on to other specs, the 4G-ready handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and contains 16GB of ROM, expandable up to 128GB.
