Airtel to launch 4G in Kochi, Operator asks people to upgrade SIM for FREE

Airtel subscribers at Kochi in Kerala have been receiving messages from the operator stating an opportunity to upgrade their mobile connections to 4G SIM for FREE. The message looks like an indication that the operator has launched 4G in the area.

  1. 1. First of all, I feel we should not go in for 4G now. 2. Wait till Airtel is ready with 4G. Why we submit ourselves as guinea pigs for their experiments? 3.For a normal home user, 4G will work out to be very costly. 4.There is no proper coverage for the network now. 5.We, customers are mistreated, because of their monopoly attitude. 6.Reliance and Tata docomo should come in the market fast. Then only the situation will improve. 7.For a home user, my suggestion is that if you are roughly satisfied with the present broadband connection, which you are using, stick to that. It may look the “grass is greener on the other side”.
