After Airtel, Vodafone updates its Self care mobile app

We reported recently that Airtel has updated its Self-care app bu including airtel money  in it, which brings no need for two apps to be downloaded, now Vodafone India has done the same by updating its app, but has a limitation.

Country’s second largest mobile operator Vodafone told it has updated the My Vodafone Android app to Version 5.0 which brings completely changed UI, new design and easy navigation

Unlike the previous version, it responds faster. One can also find ZooZoos & Zumis in the app. The new app supports Roaming, National MNP, and Easy Recharge. It have also followed Airtel’s footsteps to integrate its mobile wallet into the app. However, Vodafone M-Pesa doesn’t offer a facility to recharge others network numbers in the app.

You cannot recharge anothher number with the inclued M-Pesa service in the app

Also, with the new update postpaid users can check their bills & unbilled amount on the main page, which weren’t available in the old version of the app. Those who are on the Vodafone Red plan, can also manage their family members and share the benefits to that number.
